Food security glossary – now in Russian!

Some years back I was working at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Finland. My job was to assist the Senior Advisor for Agriculture and Rural Development.

During that time, my boss and I produced a glossary on food security and agriculture concepts in Finnish. Our aim was to bring clarity to some commonly mentioned concepts during a time which required more and more attention towards sustainable ways of producing food and ensuring food security around the planet.

The publication is still very valid and can be downloaded on the Ministry’s website here.

Now we have some good news as the glossary has recently been translated into Russian by the University of Eastern Finland. You can find the translated document here. I hope all of our Russian speaking colleagues and friends around the world find it useful.
